John, it's Lois Frankel, and before I ask you to join my reelection campaign with a donation, [[link removed]] I'm reaching out with an old photo to emphasize how I've been committed to fighting for reproductive freedom since the 80's! (That's me in the orange coat ⬆️)
While we mourn the second anniversary of the Dobbs decision, today also serves as a reminder that anti-choice extremists have not slowed down in their attacks on reproductive freedom.
FIRST: Extremists in Alabama threatened the future of IVF when the state Supreme Court ruled that embryos were children.
THEN: Arizona made headlines when they became one of the few states across the US to pass a near-total abortion ban.
NOW: It's been weeks since Florida's six-week abortion ban went into effect, and one thing remains clear —
We must continue to elect pro-choice voices and support pro-choice amendments on the ballot this year.
Not only has my team been working hard to get the word out about the importance of Amendment 4, but we've been working hard to share my history of being a pro-choice champion for our community, first as a State Rep. decades ago, now as your Congresswoman.
I, like the majority of Americans, believe that family-planning and healthcare decisions should stay between an individual and their doctor, John, and while I want to continue to lead with this mindset in Congress, my ability to keep my seat is being threatened by a self-funded GOP opponent.
The journey ahead of us won't be easy, John, but your support is key to connecting with voters, sharing our story, and securing essential supplies for our volunteers. We can't move forward without you. Will you join our team with a donation of any amount you can spare? [[link removed]]
