Dear John,

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spent $220,000 on airplane food.

That actually happened.

And Canadians know about this wasteful, extravagant spending because of Canadian Taxpayers Federation supporters like you.

Your CTF Investigative Journalist in Ottawa poured through government records and caught Trudeau and his entourage spending $220,000 on airplane food during their six-day tour of the Indo-Pacific last September.

Here are some of the airplane meals they enjoyed:

Trudeau even had his meals served on fine China.

And you paid for it all.

There is good news. Canadians know about this spending because of your support and your taxpayer investigative journalist.

The National Post wrote about the expenses. So did the Toronto Sun and other independent media outlets.

The heavy hitters in the House of Commons also grilled Trudeau about his $220,000 airplane binge.

You can watch Opposition Leader Pierre Poilievre and Trudeau go back and forth about the spending by clicking this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7VLcgLAr0E

What do you think of Trudeau’s response?

If you’d like to let Trudeau know what you think of his response, you can send him an email. When you click the automatic link below, a pre-addressed email will pop up. And it will BCC us because it helps to know what people are telling politicians.

Will you let Trudeau know what you think of him spending $220,000 on airplane food?

Note: In case the automatic link isn’t working on your device, here’s Trudeau’s email address: [email protected]

You’re the reason taxpayers have an investigative journalist in Ottawa. And you need to know that he is digging through everyone’s expenses and will hold all politicians accountable when they waste your money.

Thank you for fighting for taxpayers – you’re making a difference!

All the best,

Sincerely,

Franco Terrazzano
Federal Director – Canadian Taxpayers Federation
