John, Two years ago today, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. This ruling was infuriating — and like you, I am still angry today. Since then, Republican-led states wasted no time ripping away bodily autonomy from millions of women. But I want to be clear: Abortion is still legal in Pennsylvania. And as long as I’m your Governor, I will fight every single day to ensure that your reproductive freedoms remain protected in our Commonwealth.
Here in Pennsylvania, voters have made it clear time and time again: There’s no place for anti-choice extremism in our Commonwealth. But that hasn’t stopped the attacks on our reproductive rights. If anything, the GOP’s efforts to ban abortion in all 50 states are only growing stronger. Across the country, we’ve all seen the shameful effects of the Supreme Court’s ruling: Emergency rooms refusing to treat pregnant women. Doctors facing fear of prosecution. Millions of women now living in states with near-total abortion bans. We can’t afford to sit on the sidelines. I’m committed to safeguarding every Pennsylvanian’s right to choose — but it’s going to take all of us working together to defeat their dangerous agenda once and for all. If you can, chip in today to help me continue the fight to protect reproductive freedom for all.
Thank you, Josh |
