It’s been a chilling two years since Roe v. Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court. Extremists in Michigan and across the country continue to level attacks on reproductive freedom, with Donald Trump floating a national abortion ban and enablers like John James cheering him on.
Women have less say over their bodies than most of us have ever had. And since the Dobbs decision, anti-choice extremists have taken full advantage of the ruling by making life absolute Hell for millions of women across red states.
One thing is clear: it's never been more urgent that we retake and hold a majority in Congress in order to pass bills like the Women’s Health Protection Act, which would codify Roe v. Wade into federal law.
Here in MI-10, we have a shot at ousting an anti-choice extremist who’s done more to protect my refrigerator’s rights than my own and has compared abortion to genocide. Our lives are literally at stake.
