June 24, 2022, was a dark day for America, friend. Two years ago today, the Supreme Court ruled to overturn Roe v. Wade and struck down the constitutional right to abortion.
But the fight for reproductive rights didn't start with Dobbs, and it didn't end there either – not for me. I have always been clear about where I stand.
In fact, when I asked my wife, Connie, out on our first date back in 2003, she had just one thing she needed to know before she would say yes: my voting record on reproductive rights and LGBTQ+ rights. Both had to be 100% – otherwise, no date.

Here we are, more than 20 years after we went on that date, and I'm still fighting harder than ever.
But this isn't a fight that any one person can win alone, friend. I need your help to keep up the fight for reproductive rights in the Senate. So please, will you chip in $5 or even $25 now to help me beat my MAGA opponent, Bernie Moreno, who would proudly be the 51st vote for a national abortion ban?

Last year, Ohioans voted overwhelmingly to enshrine protections for abortion and other forms of reproductive health care into our state Constitution. But Bernie Moreno would overturn the will of Ohioans and vote for a national abortion ban.
He's even gone as far as to suggest that if women had help with their strollers, they wouldn't need abortion access – and I don't have to tell you how patently ridiculous that is, friend.
For Moreno and the GOP, overturning Roe was just the beginning. Now, they're going after medication abortion, contraceptives, IVF, and more.
Experts are saying Ohio will decide Senate control this year – and right now, polls show us statistically TIED. That means we're this close to Moreno actually being able to cast the deciding vote on policies that will put women's lives at risk.
I'm doing everything I can to stop that from happening – but I need your help. Republicans are going all in to defeat me, making this the most expensive race in the entire country. That's why I'm counting on you to help reach my $75,000 daily fundraising goal so I can fight back.
