2020 Apportionments
On April 14, during its regular spring conference call, the Missouri Conference Finance and Administrative Council (CFA) voted to provide apportionment relief to local churches. CFA, the Conference Treasurer, Rev. Nate Berneking, Bishop Bob Farr, and the entire Conference leadership team are well-aware of the struggles during the time of social distancing and inability to meet for regular worship. Special Emergency Grants for Covid-19 Response
April 15 – May 15
The Missouri UM Foundation is opening a special grant review period for grant requests from churches that address special needs relating to the Covid-19 crisis. Funds are limited and grants will generally be in the amount of $2,500 or less. Applicants should submit the standard online Ministry Grant application (www.mumf.org) at any time during the special review period. These grants are intended to address those sudden, unbudgeted expenses that your congregation may be dealing with including, but not limited to, enhancing online worship capabilities, expanding electronic giving, or humanitarian outreach to your surrounding community.
