Dear John, 

Today marks two years since the Supreme Court's decision in Dobbs v. Jackson overturned the right to an abortion, drastically altering the landscape of reproductive rights in our country. As we reflect on this pivotal moment, it’s clear that the fight for reproductive freedom is more dire now than ever.

As an emergency physician that has treated a woman who nearly died from a back-alley abortion, believe me when I say this is a matter of basic human rights and safety. I will never forget her suffering, and we cannot let this be our reality in Pennsylvania.

The Dobbs decision was a major step backwards for the rights and safety of women in America. I am committed to protecting the right to choose here in Pennsylvania, but I can’t do it alone. Together, we can ensure that every person has the autonomy to make decisions about their own health, bodies, and futures.

Will you stand with us in our battle for reproductive rights and fight against Republican efforts to take away the right to choose?
