John,
Two years ago today, a compromised Supreme Court overturned Roe vs. Wade and launched our country into a state of emergency. Anti-women, anti-freedom, and anti-democracy forces became emboldened by the SCOTUS ruling. Judges are blatantly disregarding the law, science, and the limits of their own authority to dismantle our right to access abortion care. Local legislators are criminalizing our right to protest. Local religious-fundamentalist vigilantes are hijacking city council meetings and trying to police our roadways to criminalize women seeking health care.
Since the fall of Roe,
But today, thousands of you are fighting back. Across the country, feminists are taking action: striking, convening, rallying, marching, and resisting.
Still want to take action? It's not too late. Find an action near Washington today.
Christian nationalist, white supremacist, MAGA extremists believe that if they pass enough anti-democratic laws that criminalize us and humiliate us, they can bend us to their will. But what they don't understand is that they can't reverse the social and cultural change that has already taken place. We will never submit. We will not comply. We won't retreat. We won't surrender. We won't go back.
See you in the streets, John.
