I wish we could treat Eric Hovde’s campaign like the laughing matter it may look like at times…

Hovde was caught skipping out on a weekend meeting Wisconsinites to retreat to his California mansion, he mistakenly told Fox News he’s “never been a resident of Wisconsin,” and he released a campaign ad where he cast employees on his payroll to act as everyday Wisconsinites… And that was just from the last few weeks.

We can’t let these slip-ups distract us from the fact that Hovde is running one of the most competitive Senate campaigns in the entire nation.

I’m serious when I say Eric Hovde is running a campaign that can flip this seat.

I see the poll numbers tightening — just this week, Emerson College released a new poll showing our race statistically tied. I see the eye-popping spending from right-wing super PACs and dark money groups. I see ads attacking Tammy whenever I turn on the TV.

Hovde moved back to Wisconsin with a plan to buy our Senate seat, and his strategy looks like it’s working. We need your help to fight back and keep Wisconsin blue.
