I am pleased to announce that on Thursday, June 27th, I will be holding a hearing in the Western Hemisphere Subcommittee of the House Foreign Affairs Committee on the curse of socialism in Central America and the Caribbean.

This week, Latin America's leftist leaders and activists will descend on Tegucigalpa, Honduras, where they will be convening at the 27th Meeting of the Foro de São Paulo, or Forum of São Paulo.

This meeting and its propaganda will not go unanswered. Be sure to tune in at 2pm ET on Thursday by clicking the link here to see our response.

HONORING MIAMI'S HEROIC FIREFIGHTERS!

Last week, I joined 36 firefighters and their families from across Florida's 27th Congressional District to honor their heroism in the line of duty.

Miami's firefighters are some of America's bravest, and I was honored to present them with Certificates of Special Congressional Recognition as a small token of appreciation from my office and our community to them.

DELIVERING A NEW VETERANS PARK FOR THE BEAUTIFUL VILLAGE OF PALMETTO BAY!

I also had the chance to visit the beautiful Village of Palmetto Bay, the future home for The Charles and Fanny Dascal Veterans Park!

As part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2024, my office and I secured $200,000 in federal funding to construct a new park to honor our community's veterans right in the heart of Palmetto Bay. The funds will be used to build a parking lot, walking path, and beautiful new landscaping.
