Hello, Democrats.

In just a moment, we are going to ask you to make a donation to the Democratic National Committee. Please give us a chance to explain why this request -- especially today -- is so important.

Here is the truth, and you deserve to know it:

Earlier this week, the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee filed an FEC report showing they out-raised us by a significant amount of money last month ... much of the money coming in the days after Trump's guilty verdict.

With next week's presidential debate, Trump's sentencing, and the Republican conventions shortly after, we expect their fundraising will only climb.

That puts us in a very difficult position. Because not only will that money be used to attack President Biden, but to elect MAGA candidates running against Democrats in races up and down the ballot.

No one person could donate the amount we came up short. The ONLY chance we have is if lots and lots of Democrats who understand the importance of this moment step up to help us close the gap.
