That’s because I truly believe that national reconciliation and healing begin with listening. And that’s what we need to defeat Trump in November 2024.

Over the past year, I’ve been on the picket line in California, New York, Michigan, and DC. I’ve met with student protestors in Wisconsin and Arab American voters in Michigan. I stumped for the volunteer write-in campaign for Biden in New Hampshire. I’ve met with manufacturing workers in Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Iowa. I’ve partnered with universities and tech leaders to bring new opportunities for the next generation across the Midwest.

I know America is the greatest country on earth. It’s not just our access to freedom and opportunity that makes us great, but the character of the American people. I see that every day in my travels. But I also see and hear about the struggles.

Here’s the truth: over 40 years of disastrous economic policy have hollowed out the manufacturing sector and devastated working families. For many people, life today isn’t better than it was for their parents. We need to change that.

President Biden has made incredible progress in the past three years.

* He's helped create [[link removed]] 800,000 new manufacturing jobs;
* He invested billions in building new factories; and
* He’s forgiven over $160 billion in student loan debt [[link removed]] for 4.6 million borrowers.

But it’s going to take more than one term to reverse 40-plus years of bad policy.
