TAMMY BALDWIN FOR SENATE

I’m sorry to bother you so early on a Sunday, folks.

Asking for donations is my least favorite part of the job, but they make a big difference for our campaign. Let me explain:

My megamillionaire opponent, Eric Hovde, outraised us last quarter thanks to a $8 million check he wrote his campaign. He’s used that cash to flood Wisconsin’s airwaves with ads and try to control the narrative in this race.

On top of that, right-wing super PACs and dark money groups have poured resources into our state to uplift my opponent and attack my campaign. In total, Republicans have already spent more than $16 million on ads in our Senate race, making this one of the most expensive races in the entire country.

We spent more than we budgeted for this quarter so that we could fight back against the flood of attacks Hovde and his allies have thrown my way.

I’ll put it bluntly: Whoever has more resources to get their message out will likely win this statistically tied race, so we need every bit of help to fight back.

But I don’t have an unlimited campaign war chest like my megamillionaire self-funding opponent, which is why I’m counting on your support to stay competitive.

The last thing I want to do is bother you more over the weekend, so I’m hoping you can help us close the gap toward our end-of-quarter fundraising goal. If you’re able, will you chip in to help me defend Wisconsin’s Senate seat?

Please use the links in this email to start a monthly donation through ActBlue.

I’m so grateful for your support today and always.
