After two consecutive polls showed Donald Trump leading President Biden in Minnesota this week, the Trump campaign is immediately moving to open 8 new field offices across our state.
Trump knows that if he wins Minnesota, he’ll be re-elected. There is nothing he won’t do, say, or spend to flip us red in November, and it’s up to DFLers to fight back and hold the line for the future of our democracy.
It’s not going to be an easy fight. Trump brought in $1 million for the Minnesota Republican Party when he headlined a fundraiser in our state last month, and we know there’s a lot more where that came from.
To prepare for the onslaught of lies and misinformation headed our way, it’s essential that we expand our critical programs ahead of schedule, including paid media and organizing. But we still need to raise $11,582 by midnight to reach our rapid response goal and get our plans off the ground.
