Dear John,
The fight to save our country continues, and our race is the front line in the battle. The DC Swamp spent six months and $10 million lying about me and trying to steal this nomination election from the people of the 5th District.
The “too-close-to-call” results do not reflect the demonstrated support on the ground in the district leading up to election day, or the survey of voters coming into the polls. There was no enthusiasm and little evidence of support for my opponent.
Kevin McCarthy and John McGuire have demonstrated that they will do ANYTHING to “win” this election and prevent my reelection as a courageous conservative warrior against the establishment uni-party system.
We cannot let them succeed. We cannot let them win this war against the House Freedom Caucus and against the conservative movement. We cannot let them defeat YOU.

There are ballots still to be counted, and we are working through that process.
We believe that the majority of Republicans voted for me in this election, and that we actually won this race.
We are looking into evidence of whether data manipulation was used to affect the vote totals.
We have proof that there was Wi-Fi access inside some of the polling places, in violation of election rules.
There were 3 fire alarms that went off at voting precincts on election day, all at about the same time, that resulted in those polling places being shut down for approximately 20 minutes. We don’t know what activity took place inside those polling places while everyone was evacuated.
Everyone should want to ensure the accuracy and integrity of this election, and that every legal and legitimate vote is cast, and only every legal and legitimate vote. Everyone should want to ensure that there is full faith and confidence that the ultimate result of this election reflects the will of the qualified participating voters. Sadly, that is not the case.
In one county---Democrat controlled Albemarle---they started the canvassing process, which is the review of the ballot tabulation results---two hours earlier than scheduled. They notified my opponent’s campaign so he could have a representative, but they didn’t notify our campaign. We do not know WHAT happened during those unobserved two hours that we were unknowingly absent. The election officials in this county continue to fight our efforts to review the results during the subsequent canvassing period.
We are meeting strong resistance in another county---Buckingham---which has had previous corruption allegations regarding how the RINO Republican chair, who blatantly supports my opponent, has manipulated the registrar office. The election data in this county is a disaster, and they have been fighting our efforts to review and assess the results.
We are demanding a full forensic audit of this election, including a hand-count and reconciliation of the actual paper ballots versus the voting machines.
Saving America starts with saving THIS election from the forces of evil inside and outside the Republican Party!
We cannot let the McCarthy/McGuire machine steal this election from 5th District Republicans. The country is watching, and conservatives across America are counting on us to win this fight!

A “victory” by my opponent because we failed to act will put this seat in jeopardy in the November general election. The Democrats and the media would be all too happy to publicize and exploit his refusal to answer questions regarding his campaign ads and alleged campaign finance violations.
