When I joined the Air Force, I took an oath. With my right hand in the air, I swore to defend the Constitution and protect our nation from all enemies, foreign and domestic.
In that moment, I made a lifelong commitment to defend democracy. So when I stepped away from the Air Force years later, I knew that I wasn’t saying goodbye to service forever.
Now, I’m running for Congress to defend democracy from my MAGA Republican opponent who is stripping away reproductive rights, environmental protections, and union jobs in our community.
Central New York needs a leader who will fight for working families and the middle class. We need a leader who fights for policies that make our lives better and our children’s futures brighter.
I’m running to be that leader. But I can’t flip this seat alone.
It takes a team to navigate difficult battles, whether it’s completing a mission to defend this great nation, raising two daughters, or flipping a red seat blue. So today I need to enlist this grassroots team’s help for our next big fight: regaining control of the House.
I’m ready to serve – my district and my country. But I’m up against Corporate SuperPacs and special interests spending millions to block us from flipping this seat.
