Soon, we’ll mark two years since the Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade and stripped basic freedoms from millions of Americans.

I worked for Planned Parenthood. I saw how difficult it was for clinics to stay open in red states. I saw how difficult it was to access even basic care, like mammograms and other cancer screenings.

That was BEFORE the Supreme Court overturned Roe . Since then, we’ve entered a full-blown yet underreported healthcare crisis.

Legislators in Texas and Idaho passed unbelievably cruel laws, driving thousands of people to states like Washington to get the care they need.

We’ve seen clearly how these new laws disproportionately harm Black women and Black LGBTQ+ folks who are already marginalized by our healthcare system.

Reproductive freedom isn’t just another issue for me. It’s what drove me to run for office in the first place.

I’m the only Democrat endorsed by Planned Parenthood Action Fund because, in Congress, I’ll work every day to restore what we lost and end the painful crisis brought on by the end of Roe — just like I’ve done in Washington State.
