SPENDING QUALITY TIME WITH FAMILY
Sunday, June 16th, was Father’s Day. Gov. Hogan spent the weekend having quality time with his family. He also remembered his father, Congressman Larry Hogan Sr.
Gov. Hogan: "This Father’s Day, I’m especially grateful to have three incredible daughters—Julie, Jaymi, and Kim—and five amazing grandchildren. I don’t know where I’d be without their constant love and support.
I learned so much about integrity and public service from my dad, Larry Hogan, Sr.. He always stood up for what was right—regardless of political affiliation or his own personal interests. He was my hero.
Happy Father’s Day, Dad. I miss you every day."

NEW TV AD: “INDEPENDENT LEADERSHIP”
On Monday, June 17, Gov. Hogan released a powerful new TV ad, titled “Independent Leadership.”
Gov. Hogan knows that strong, independent leaders CAN make a difference.
That’s what his father did when he became the first Republican congressman to call for the impeachment of President Nixon.

A MAJOR MILESTONE
Tuesday, June 18th was an important day for Gov. Hogan.
Gov. Hogan: “On this day in 2015, I heard my doctor say 13 words that changed my life. “Governor, I'm afraid we have some very difficult news to share with you.” And with those 13 words, I was diagnosed with an advanced and aggressive cancer which had already spread rapidly throughout my body.
Nine years later, I am grateful to say that I am still 100% cancer-free.
For the last nine years, Father’s Day has come with a particular reminder that this precious time is a blessing that isn’t promised to anyone."

STANDING WITH MARYLAND’S JEWISH COMMUNITY
Gov. Hogan is proud to stand in solidarity with Maryland’s Jewish community and our ally Israel in its fight against he antisemitic Hamas terrorists.
He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment in a letter to Maryland rabbis this week.
Gov. Hogan: “While my opponent has called for cutting off aid to Israel, we must reject reckless attempts to undermine our ally.”

JUNETEENTH COMMEMORATION
Wednesday, June 19th marked Juneteenth–the holiday commemoration of the final end of slavery in the United States.
Gov. Hogan: “On Juneteenth, we as Americans are reminded of the triumph of the human spirit over the cruelty of slavery—achieved through the courage of extraordinary men and women, great Marylanders like Frederick Douglass and Harriet Tubman.
May we continue working to realize the vision that Douglass, Tubman, and so many freedom fighters had for Maryland and for our nation.”

Supporting Maryland’s Maritime Professionals
On Thursday, June 20th, Gov. Hogan visited the Calhoon Marine Engineers’ Beneficial Association (MEBA) Engineering School in Easton, a private maritime educational and training facility for MEBA union members and all maritime and related industry professionals.
Gov. Hogan: “Thank you to MEBA Executive Director Bryan Jennings for giving us a tour of your state of the art facilities. We’re honored to have the Marine Engineers’ Beneficial Association as part of the strong union support for our campaign.

Hi, it’s Governor Larry Hogan.
When I launched my campaign for the U.S. Senate, I did so with a deep resolve to maintain the leadership style and principles that guided me during my eight years as governor.
Fifty years ago, my father, Maryland Congressman Larry Hogan Sr. made a tough decision. He became the first Republican to come out for the impeachment of President Nixon. He put aside party politics and his own personal considerations and stepped up to do the right thing for Maryland and the nation.
Today, Washington is completely broken because that kind of leadership and willingness to put country over party has become far too rare. But it’s not in my nature to sit back and watch the dysfunction continue without doing what I can to roll up my sleeves and get to work.
I’m under no illusion this will be an easy road. But I’m no stranger to uphill battles, and I know I can’t do it without your support.
I don't aspire to be a United States senator. I don’t need a title and I don’t need a job, but I’m more concerned than ever about the direction of the country and I have become more convinced that I can make a difference by taking the approach and style of leadership I had during my eight years as governor to Washington.
It’s no surprise this mindset has made me a target of the Washington partisans. Despite early polls showing a lead, I know I’m the underdog in this race. And that’s why your support TODAY is so crucial.
