RUSH A GIFT

Hunger and malnutrition have spread through Gaza at frightening speed, causing catastrophic rates of disease, death, and despair.

9 out of 10 children in Gaza are experiencing severe food poverty. For pregnant women and newborns, every day has become a fight for survival.

A woman and child in Gaza

Healthy pregnancies in Gaza are no longer possible, creating a nightmare for pregnant women.

With each meal missed, the odds of a woman delivering an undernourished, undersized baby rise. New mothers are not getting enough food to nurse their newborns — who doctors report are often too weak to cry or even face the risk of dying because they weigh too little.

UNFPA has distributed 50,000 reproductive health kits and established a mobile maternal health unit in Rafah to support safe births.

But the amount of aid entering Gaza is only a drop in the bucket of what’s needed to mitigate this hunger crisis and ensure safe childbirths.

So, will you make an emergency gift to deliver lifesaving humanitarian aid to pregnant women, children, and all those who need it in crisis zones like Gaza?

MAKE AN EMERGENCY GIFT

We condemn the violence in Gaza, the West Bank, and Israel, and echo the UN Secretary-General’s call for a sustained humanitarian ceasefire and the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages by Hamas. The suffering must end and peace must prevail.

Thank you for being there.
