With Congress likely to pass additional legislation as soon as next month, NOW is the time to speak up!

** Advocating for an Inclusive COVID-19 Response
------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Allies,

Congress has passed three bills to address the COVID-19 crisis, but these efforts left many immigrants out of both public health and economic stimulus policies. Much more needs to be done to ensure that everyone has access to the health care, nutrition and income supports they need to endure this crisis. With Congress likely to pass additional legislation as soon as next month, NOW is the time to speak up!
Ready to take action?
Here are three ways to send a message to Congress.
* Join and share our sign-on letter. 400+ organizations have already signed-on to our letter ([link removed]) urging Congressional leaders to quickly pass legislation that will make all of our communities healthier and more secure. You can still sign your organization on with this form ([link removed]) . The deadline to join has been extended to Monday, 4/20 at noon ET. All federal, state and local groups are welcome.
* Visit the Take Action page ([link removed]) on the PIF website and encourage your networks to do the same. In 3 minutes or less, you can speak up and make your voice heard.
* Speak up on social media. Senator Hirono’s office is planning a tweetstorm on Monday at 2pm ET, 11am PT to highlight the Coronavirus Immigrant Families Protection Act. Please help us amplify those tweets ([link removed]) and stay tuned for more social media shareables from the PIF Campaign next week.

Want to learn more? Join the PIF Campaign as we share our asks for the next bill, messaging guidance, and how to take action. We’re holding a 30 minute webinar next Friday, April 24 at 2pm ET, 11am PT.

Have questions about what programs are currently available to support individuals and families during the COVID-19 crisis? Check out our Quick Reference Guide ([link removed]) . The guide includes clarification about whether these programs are taken into account for public charge purposes.

Thank you for your continued partnership!
