We wanted to share a few words about the Common Dreams paywall: There isn’t one.

That’s because we believe that quality journalism should be available to all people, regardless of their ability to pay. So there is no paywall, and Common Dreams has no plans to put one up — ever.

But that doesn’t mean we don’t need funds to survive.

Our hard-working team deserves living wages, health benefits, and the everyday resources necessary to support their incredible reporting. We keep our costs low, but it’s vital that our mission — To inform. To inspire. To ignite change for the common good. — has the financial support of readers like you.
