Republicans are aggressively pursuing their anti-choice agenda, recently BLOCKING the Right to Contraception Act. They're following Donald Trump’s lead aiming to push for a national abortion ban. Meanwhile, Arizonans face the potential enforcement of an 1864 abortion ban, supported by local MAGA extremists, which has no exceptions for rape or incest.

The only way we’ll protect our right to an abortion and every American’s bodily autonomy is by defeating the MAGA movement at the ballot box. Can you pitch in $10 right now to help us fight for pro-choice Democrats across Arizona? [[link removed]]

"Republicans are failing Arizonans at every level of government, attempting to ban abortion nationwide and putting access to essential reproductive services like contraception on the line, " said Arizona Democratic Party Chairwoman Yolanda Bejarano. "Arizonans know that while Republicans fail us, Democrats are fighting to protect abortion rights and our freedoms. This November, voters will choose Democrats up and down the ballot to ensure our abortion rights are safeguarded and never in jeopardy again."

"Once again, Republicans prefer political games over protecting pregnant individuals and medical providers. At the state legislative level, we’ve seen extreme measures introduced by Republican lawmakers to erode basic reproductive healthcare," said ADLCC Board Chair Senator Priya Sundareshan. "Arizonans deserve a new legislative majority that will defend access to reproductive healthcare. Come November, voters will back legislators committed to safeguarding reproductive freedoms."

Arizona Republicans’ anti-abortion stance is clear: Congressman David Schweikert has co-sponsored the Life at Conception Act six times and celebrated the overturning of Roe v Wade . This act would ban all abortions and eliminate access to IVF. Congressman Juan Ciscomani also supports the Life at Conception Act, co-sponsored H.R. 7, which prohibits government subsidies for insurance plans covering abortions, and packed the Arizona Supreme Court to support the 1864 abortion ban.

In our state legislature, Representatives Matt Gress, Justin Wilmeth, and Senator Shawnna Bolick refused to vote to protect birth control, paving the way for more attacks on contraception in our State House and Senate. Nearly every Democratic member of the Arizona Senate and House co-sponsored the Right to Contraception Act (SB1362 and HB2678). Despite this, the bill never received a hearing. When Democrats attempted to force a vote after an Alabama court ruling made IVF illegal, Republican legislators blocked it unanimously, including all 14 Republican incumbents in battleground districts.

Democrats will keep fighting to protect the right to abortion and secure bodily autonomy for every American. Join us in our fight by pitching in right now to help us ensure our reproductive freedoms are protected this November. [[link removed]]
