I love the summertime, john — especially back home in Minnesota.

But the summer months can be difficult for grassroots fundraising — people are offline, enjoying the nice weather (as they should!), and paying less attention to politics.

The problem is, with the election less than five months away, our campaign is making some key investments right now.

Republican super PACs are dropping big checks in swing states across the country to tilt the scales in their favor. To make sure Democrats have the resources they need to respond to GOP ad buys flooding the airwaves, I’m counting on this grassroots team for help.
