Dear John,

I'm conducting an urgent ROLL CALL of the Center for American Liberty's very best supporters.

Given current events, I need to know in the next 24 hours if we're alone in our fight for parental rights -- or if you're still with us...

...because the California Senate passed legislation that will ban school districts from enacting policies that would require school staff to notify parents if their child changes pronouns at school.

In other words, school districts can't enforce "parental notification" policies -- and teachers and guidance counselors have no opportunity to alert parents when their child is in crisis.

Regardless of what parents want -- or what rights the United States Constitution affords parents -- state senators are trying to strip parents of both their rights and legislative recourse.

Is that what you want?

Or do you want the Center for American Liberty to keep fighting to defend parental rights in courtrooms across America?

EMERGENCY ROLL CALL

Do parents have a right to control the upbringing of their children? ✅

Do parents have a right to know what's going on in taxpayer funded schools? ✅

Do parents have the right to know when their child is suffering from mental illness like gender dysphoria? ✅

Do parents have the right to influence school policies by running for school board? ✅

As you read this, the California Senate is attempting to remove the ability of local school districts to govern...

...so they can centralize power in Sacramento where you and I both know the decision makers are radicals who want to indoctrinate your children and grandchildren with their dangerous ideologies.

And if Gov. Gavin Newsom signs this bill into law -- which I suspect he will based on his radical track record -- we're going to have a major new legal fight on our hands.

In fact, we're already gearing up for this fight -- which will have huge implications in many of our other cases including Regino v. Staley and Bonta v. Chino Valley Unified School District.

But before we can commit to any further preparation, I need to know where you stand, John.
