Coronavirus Resources and Small Business Relief Update

For coronavirus information and resources on federal assistance as it relates to the pandemic, please visit allred.house.gov/coronavirus.

I helped to pass the Coronavirus Relief, Assistance and Recovery (CARES) Act which expands unemployment insurance and provides assistance to small businesses. However, many North Texans have seen delays or run into substantial roadblocks during the small business application process. That is unacceptable.

I have been fighting to ensure North Texas small business owners and workers can access the assistance they’ve been promised. I recently joined with Republicans and Democrats to urge the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to provide answers and information regarding delays seen by Economic Injury Disaster Loan and Grant applicants.  

Every day matters and we have no time to waste. I’ll keep fighting to ensure that small businesses and their workers can get the help they need.
