Dear Friend of MCV,

Maine Conservation Voters is a proud member of the Wabanaki Alliance Tribal Coalition and stands with the Wabanaki Nations in Maine in their continued fight for the recognition of their inherent sovereignty.

We’ll be celebrating this collaboration along with the Wabanaki Alliance and the hundreds of other organizations, businesses, and individuals that make up the coalition on July 11 from 5:30-7 PM at the Abbe Museum in Bar Harbor for the Wabanaki Alliance’s annual celebration, Nihkaniyane: Let’s Go Forward Together.

The Alliance will honor Rena Newell, Carol Wishcamper, and MCV’s very own Beth Ahearn for their work championing Wabanaki sovereignty.
