The local elections saw a remarkable increase in the number of pro-life candidates elected to City and County Councils across Ireland. 72 pro-life candidates were successful, an increase from just over 50 in the 2019 Local Elections. This outcome marks a pivotal shift in the political landscape, with numerous pro-life voices now in influential positions. Notably, Dublin, Cork, and Galway have shown strong pro-life representation.
In the European Parliament elections, we also saw a positive change, with pro-abortion candidates losing seats to more balanced voices.
