That's because the crisis is exposing deep systemic inequality and is quickly making the disparities worse, as millions of marginalized people are struggling to pay the bills, stay healthy, and survive.

But several of the most impacted groups have been left out of those efforts, and as the pandemic worsens, it is clear Congress must urgently do more.
