Every 11 minutes, someone in the U.S. dies from gun violence.

It’s a chilling statistic, one that motivates me to continue pushing for life-saving gun violence prevention legislation, even as others oppose it.

I’ve dedicated my time in Congress to advocating for legislation that puts safety over the gun lobby. We must continue to invest in proven strategies like community-based violence intervention programs, mental health services, and commonsense gun safety measures.
