When we defend and protect voices like Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s in Congress,
we know that we will have a partner who understands the importance of
centering policy around people, not profits.

Now more than ever, we need to keep Rashida in Congress. Rashida is being
targeted by the right wing with hate-filled rhetoric and by
corporate-backed opponents. A recent poll (likely funded by those seeking
to take her down) shows Rashida has a real challenger in Michigan’s August
primary.

From the beginning Rashida has been rooted in community. Rashida has been
a transformative voice for communities of color and the working class. She
can’t fight back alone. We have to do everything we can to help her win
re-election.

Rashida has been a relentless fighter for our movement and has
accomplished so much in her first term in Congress. From taking on big
corporations, to standing up to Donald Trump’s hatred at every turn, to
working with her constituents to craft successful and ground-breaking
legislation that elevates people out of poverty — Rashida has always
fought for our communities.

Rashida’s race in 2018 was extremely close. But she won thanks to
grassroots door-to-door field work. And this race could be really close,
too — especially because the campaign has to pivot to virtual organizing
in the pandemic. Rashida has always rejected corporate PAC contributions,
instead relying on contributions from real people and supporters like you.

We’re ready to help Rashida win re-election. Will you join us? A
