In just a moment, I am going to ask you to contribute to my campaign, but please give me a moment to explain why this request is so critical.
We are only 4 days out from getting an opponent. That means that all the money that Super PACs and extremist groups have been accumulating to buy back NY-03 can finally go towards bolstering my opponent and--you guessed it--attacking me.
After our performance earlier this year in the special, all eyes will be on NY-03 to see if we can pull it off again.
I have been amazed at our grassroots effort up till now. Some of you have been with me for a long time, some of you joined our team during the special, some of you have joined since, but all of you have been the support I needed as I went from one competitive election immediately into another.
It is because we are all unified by our defining message: solving problems and using common sense to get things done.
