*?State of Missouri to hold Groundbreaking Ceremony for Multi-Agency State Laboratory Campus June 27 in Jefferson City*

*JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.* ? The State of Missouri will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Multi-Agency State Laboratory Campus in Jefferson City on *Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.* The event will take place behind the State Public Health Laboratory (101 N. Chestnut St.). Governor Parson and members of his Cabinet will be in attendance and provide details about the new lab and how it will better serve Missourians. An updated, finalized design will also be presented to the public.?

?Missouri strives to lead the nation in public safety, health, agricultural production, wildlife and environmental areas,? said *Commissioner Ken Zellers, Office of Administration*. ?This new campus brings all of those pieces together for improved information and resource sharing, ultimately creating a safer and healthier community for generations of Missourians.?
