When Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan speaks, we listen. Earlier this month at the Annual Luncheon, we listened even more closely when she told us that she does this work out of love, even when it’s difficult. Peggy is right – this election is going to be hard work.

Anti-choices forces are well organized and are making in-roads at all levels of elected office. Not just in state governments where they exert legislative control over our bodies – they’re also on school boards banning books and restricting access to medically accurate, comprehensive sex ed in public schools. Their movement is well-funded and well-organized.
We must fight together. This fight is our fight, and we will only win if we are united in the shared purpose of protecting and defending reproductive freedom across Minnesota. Like Representative Leigh Finke says, if we stop fighting, we’ll start losing. We have to campaign hard, dig deep, and win big for Women Winning endorsed candidates.
