The Court kept guns out of the hands of domestic abusers.
John,
The Supreme Court just handed down a very important victory for the gun violence prevention movement – finally.
After multiple, deadly decisions from this Supreme Court, it ruled today to keep guns out of the hands of domestic abusers – a victory for common sense gun laws that will protect countless lives.
This is the kind of victory we fight for every single day, John. Today’s news is proof that our tireless efforts are making an impact and that we can’t stop fighting for change. To keep up this momentum, Brady is MATCHING all gifts to continue our life-saving mission. Will you donate today and have your gift go twice as far toward fueling this fight to end gun violence? → [[link removed]]

This case was a matter of life and death, not hypothetical debate, John. Guns are the number one weapon of choice for domestic abusers and thankfully the Court has made a life-saving decision in U.S. v. Rahimi. The decision joined by the overwhelming majority of the Court shows just how radical gun extremists’ views are.
This case was born out of the Supreme Court’s decision in Bruen , the result of the gun lobby’s deadly agenda to gut gun laws across the country and drastically expand the interpretation of the Second Amendment. This time around, the Court stood up to the gun lobby's dangerous game, despite having made a deadly decision just last week to put bump stocks back on the streets.
Brady fought every single day to stop another gun extremists victory in the highest court in the land, John. Our legal team submitted amicus briefs to the Court and our activists made their voices heard on this critical issue. But, this is not the end of our fight against a deadly gun lobby agenda, an ultra-conservative Supreme Court, or gun rights extremists in Congress. Today is a critical victory toward freeing America from gun violence but we can only continue with your support:
Our collective action has the power to move the needle toward change and we cannot let up the pressure on the heels of this victory: Right now, your donation can be DOUBLED in our continued fight to protect gun laws and save lives. Will you donate a matched gift right now? → [[link removed]]
