John—We've always known we can't trust what Mike Lawler says, but his latest flip-flop is alarming.

Just last August, Lawler claimed that if Trump was convicted, "he should not be running for public office – period."

But now that Trump's been convicted. . .well, Lawler says he's still backing Trump this November.

We can't say we're surprised. Lawler was a delegate for Trump in 2016 and got paid to reelect him in 2020. Lawler has proven time and again that he is just another lackey for Trump and his MAGA agenda in Congress.

The people of the Lower Hudson Valley deserve a Representative they can trust, not one who blindly follows a president who incited a violent insurrection and continues to cozy up to extremists.
