As acceptance and understanding of the LGBTQ+ movement has come a long way in America, many politicians in both major political parties are embracing equality—or in the case of most Republicans, they at least try to refrain from being openly hostile or bigoted. 

Naturally, Lauren Boebert is happy to say the quiet part out loud and show everyone her true colors: 

After Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg rightly called out Boebert for taking credit for infrastructure projects in Colorado that she literally voted against and fought, Boebert decided the correct response was homophobic insults: 

“Mayor Pete, maybe you were out chest-feeding and missed my letter, but I personally wrote you about this in June 2022,” she said.

Sec. Buttigieg and his husband welcomed two babies into their family that year. These are two kids that will grow up with loving parents in a happy and healthy home.

Which is more than we can say for Boebert's train wreck of a home life: she is currently in a nasty divorce that has been marked by multiple public domestic violence incidents, one of which involved her son Tyler. And that same son was arrested in Rifle, Colorado, in February in connection with a “recent string of vehicle trespass and property thefts" there. He is indicted on 22 charges and 4 felony counts, and has had trouble finding and affording a lawyer. Boebert herself skipped one of his court appearances to stand outside the Manhattan courtroom in solidarity with Donald Trump, who would shortly thereafter be convicted of 34 felony counts himself. 

We're sick and tired of Boebert's unrestrained bigotry.
