John,

Over the past week, thousands of New Yorkers headed to the polls to cast their ballots early for the June 25th primary election

Registered New York voters should confirm their early voting site (as it may differ from their usual Election Day location) and preview their ballot. The last day of Early Voting is on Sunday, June 23rd.

Immigration is a key issue on ballots nationwide, and here in New York, it's no exception. To safeguard immigrant communities and uphold our democracy, it is imperative that voters elect officials who are committed to supporting these values locally.

According to a recent poll, 66% of battleground voters want a balanced approach to the immigration system. Voters want border security and pathways to citizenship and legal status for long-established undocumented immigrants.

It is essential that our elected legislators reflect the humanitarian values of everyday Americans and uplift the issues of our communities.

As we continue to prepare for these crucial months ahead, it is up to us to vote and elect champions that can continue the work and empower immigrant communities across New York. I call on you to go vote this weekend for a better and stronger New York.

In power,

Wennie Chin
Senior Director of Community and Civic Engagement
