Breaking–

I'll be brief—the Supreme Court just issued a life-saving decision in U.S.
v. Rahimi, reversing the Trump-stacked Fifth Circuit's dangerous ruling to
allow domestic abusers to be armed. It's good news, but we never should
have been here in the first place.

Former President Trump packed the courts with extremist judges—including
two of the three judges who ruled in favor of Rahimi, a dangerous
abuser—in the Fifth Circuit. The fact that this case had to go all the way
up to the Supreme Court proves that we cannot rest, even for a little bit,
when it comes to protecting our gun safety.

Right now, existing loopholes in federal and state law still allow access
to guns by abusive partners and stalkers, often with deadly results—so we
need to get to work, together:

[ [link removed] ]Donate now to help us fight for stronger gun laws that close these
loopholes, defeat dangerous bills that would make us less safe, and build
a groundswell of opposition against the gun lobby and its extremist
agenda. All gifts made before June 30th will be matched, up to $250,000,
to support these efforts.

We'll provide a more detailed analysis of the Court's decision soon, but
what is clear is today, the Supreme Court ruled 8-1 against gun rights
extremists. [ [link removed] ]Contribute to Everytown with your 2X matched gift so that
we can prevent this threat from occurring again in the future.

Thanks,

John Feinblatt
