While Pierre Poilievre calls in Stephen Harper to fight his battles, Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team will stay focused on delivering real progress for Canadians.
Stephen Harper and Pierre Poilievre want you to believe Canada is broken, friend.
So when Stephen Harper sent out an email yesterday to Conservative Party supporters calling Pierre Poilievre a “beacon of hope” for Canadians, we wanted to set the record straight:
In the nearly 10 years that Stephen Harper was Prime Minister, he cut services that the middle class relied on, attacked labour unions, raised the retirement age from 65 to 67, closed nine Veterans Affairs offices, and did nothing to fight climate change.
And Pierre Poilievre is pulling directly from Stephen Harper’s playbook.
He promises to cut programs for the middle class to give tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy, is willing to use the notwithstanding clause to override your Charter rights, hangs out with far-right extremist groups, and gets kicked out of the House of Commons for personal attacks and name-calling.
While Pierre Poilievre calls in Stephen Harper to fight his battles, Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team will stay focused on delivering real progress for Canadians.
Chip in now so Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team can deliver fairness for every generation.
