Fight for a Union

Guess who made record profits last year and is on track to make even more record profits this year?
Guess who raised prices, blaming wages and inflation, and then dropped them on a whim?
Guess who’s STILL salty about paying California fast food workers like me our hard fought $20/hr?
You got it. McDonald’s! Most corporations (plus the wealthy and powerful who run them) have similar goals to Mickey D’s: make the most profit with little to no concern for working people like me.
And it’s not just fast food workers hurting from corporate greed. It’s consumers and workers everywhere—across industries, races, and backgrounds. From the graduate worker in Massachusetts to the autoworkers in the South, corporations are fighting to keep our wages low but on the other side charging us more with any excuse they can find.
No one wants to work, work, work themselves to death and still barely be able to afford basic necessities. Corporations need a check on their power.
At this point, greedflation is so obvious—did you know that in 1994 the Big Mac was $2.99? Now it’s over $10. That’s nearly $4 above inflation. Disgusting!
High prices and low wages are hurting us all but we can fight back by exposing this gross greed.
Today, share our greedflation petition with your family and friends so we can show the world we won’t stand for this >> [[link removed]] (tip: don’t forget to add the phone number of the person you’re sending to!)
Enough with corporations blaming the pay we have earned for charging higher prices.
In solidarity,
Oscar Rodríguez
