Meeting this goal prepares us to respond within days of emergencies, like we did following the 2023 earthquake in Türkiye.
It allows us to support the opening of new health clinics – like the one in the Al Zohoor refugee community which saw more than 2,000 patients in its first month of operation.
And it helps provide essential mental health services to earthquake survivors like Ehsan*, a Syrian health worker who was displaced yet again after his family home was destroyed in the earthquake.
