Yesterday was World Refugee Day, and while this important day of observance has ended, the tremendous needs that Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is seeing among forcibly displaced people have not.
Right now, MSF is providing comprehensive health care for people making their way along the dangerous migration routes, including through Central America. These routes are far from easy or safe: MSF’s mental health and social work teams provided care to over 500 survivors of violence and kidnappings in Reynosa and Matamoros, Mexico, in recent months.
World Refugee Day is over, but our patients still need us. Start a monthly donation today of $15 or more and we’ll send you an exclusive MSF tote as a thank you! Give today and proudly show your commitment to providing lifesaving care for people seeking safety and others in need >>
This World Refugee Day tote was designed by Palestinian illustrator, designer, cartoonist, and video artist Omar Sommad. Throughout the recent conflict, Omar has been depicting the experiences of Palestinians living through displacement, siege, hunger, and bombings in his art.
Our ability to provide care to people seeking safety is only possible because of supporters like you. Our monthly donors—also known as Field Partners—create a steady, reliable source of funding for vital medical care. Here’s how your commitment could go to work:
