** Teton Pass Closure Info and Resources
------------------------------------------------------------

[Just now, it was reported that WYDOT hopes to open the Pass next week, so this information may be less relevant, but only time will tell.]

A huge shout-out to Julien Hass who gathered the following information for us. At this point, no one knows when Teton Pass will reopen, although here may be a temporary fix in the next few weeks. In the meantime, there are resources for those affected and ways for others to assist. This is by no means an exhaustive list, but we wanted to provide a quick reference that can be easily shared.

News Flash: Applications are now open for emergency housing at Legacy Lodge. Contact contacting Mountain Property Management at 307-733-1684. Currently, unfurnished units are available for rent.
* If you need or can offer a room, or camping spot or RV parking, you can post info on the Teton Area Mutual Aid ([link removed]) facebook page. If you are not a facebook user, you can send an email (mailto:[email protected]) . There are people offering rides to the airport, carpooling, petsitting and more.

* The Community Foundation of Teton Valley has set up the Teton Pass Closure: Community Connections ([link removed]) with a wealth of information on everything from food and housing to financial assistance and mental health.

* One22 Resource Center ([link removed]) has a new program to help Teton Valley commuters deal with costs resulting from the closure of the Teton Pass. The Temporary Emergency Relief for Commuters (TERC) program includes two funding tiers:
+ A one-time “Quick Relief” stipend of a $250 gift card for gas or groceries. Applications are open now and will remain open through July 15, or until a functional road along Teton Pass opens.
+ “Emergency Relief” funds for those who need more assistance. These funds can support extended childcare, transportation, rent or other costs created by the closure. Applications for these funds will open soon, according to One22.

* TheCommunity Foundation of Jackson Hole ([link removed]) has put in place a community emergency response fund for organizations who can help the community. It is not for individuals.
