Michigan Republicans are showing their true colors, once again.

Betsy DeVos recently spoke out against the Biden administration’s rule that will protect transgender students from discrimination.

It’s no surprise that DeVos and Republicans are spreading misinformation and fear-mongering around this rule during Pride month. Their goal is to urge Congress to reverse the Biden administration rule, leaving transgender students with little to no protection.

Instead of fear-mongering and stigmatizing vulnerable Michigan children, Republicans should focus on actually funding our public schools and lowering costs for working families. But we know Betsy DeVos and the MIGOP have zero plans to do any of that.

This is just one of many examples of the level of extremism Republicans want to go if they take control of Congress and the White House. As a critical battleground state, we have the responsibility and power to stop them.
