Change of Value Notices Mailed

PORT ORCHARD, Wash. - The Kitsap County Assessor?s Office announces change of value notices have been sent to 23,389 *residential and commercial property taxpayers* throughout Kitsap County. The notices are expected to arrive on or after June 21, 2024.

The Assessor is required by state law to appraise property at 100% of market value.? These notices are determined based upon property values as of Jan. 1, 2024, and will be used when calculating property tax obligations payable in 2025.

Taxpayers can check their value and property characteristics in the Parcel Details [ [link removed] ] tool on the Assessor?s website. [ [link removed] ] Sales trend [ [link removed] ] information for the county is available on the website as well as sales data [ [link removed] ] for specific residential neighborhoods and commercial property class types. Information regarding the various property tax exemption programs [ [link removed] ] is also available.?

The Kitsap County Assessor?s Office is available to answer your questions in person, via email or by telephone. Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Fridays, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. You may also contact the office directly through email at [email protected] or by telephone at 360.337.7160.
