The CARES Act that passed a few weeks ago offers relief to small businesses and workers who have lost income because of COVID-19, but doesn't go far enough to ensure that farmers and ranchers can recover from this crisis. That's why we are proud to have shaped and endorsed the The Relief for America’s Small Farmers Act, which provides debt relief to farmers across the country. 

At a time when farmers are enduring multiple threats to their livelihoods, farms and land, this bill is a critical step to ensuring that no farmer loses their farm or home from this unprecedented moment. Please help by telling your Senators that this bill must be included in the next federal COVID relief package.

People all over the country (and the world!) tuned into last weekend's virtual concert, "At Home with Farm Aid." And, many people donated. We're extremely thankful for this generous support for family farmers, upon whom we all rely. All told, the event raised $500,000 to support our work to:

• Invest in farmer-led solutions to respond to COVID-19
• Make emergency grants to family farmers and ranchers in need
• Coordinate our national network of experts to create comprehensive resources for farmers
• Offer a sympathetic ear to farmers under stress through our hotline and connect them to the legal, financial and mental health support they need to recover
• Support local, state and national farm organizations working on-the-ground to help farmers navigate this crisis
• Advocate for needed COVID recovery funds and resources from the federal government for short-term relief and long-term resilience
