I think it’s important that presidential candidates take the time to speak to Americans without the mainstream media controlling the conversation. Last month, I joined TikTok creators for a virtual town hall about the TikTok Ban and our First Amendment rights. To my knowledge, this was the first time a Presidential candidate has held a town hall on TikTok without a mainstream media outlet pre-selecting the questions and mediating the conversation.

Some 170 million Americans use TikTok, so it’s a great forum to reach the people. Unlike the incumbents, I’m not afraid to speak directly to the American people and take live questions. This is how democracy works!
