Ongoing violence and economic instability in Venezuela has fueled a spiraling crisis. Many families lack access to food, medical care and essential services. Claudia fled to Colombia with her two youngest children seeking safety and opportunity. But in her new home, Claudia found only more hardship when money ran out and her husband became physically and verbally abusive. Once again, Claudia and her children fled for safety.
She found help at an Americares no cost clinic where Claudia's family began healing from the trauma they experienced. Americares provided critical mental health care that she and her children desperately needed.
Operating six days a week, Americares has 10 vital clinics that provide quality primary care, mental health services and medications at no cost to Venezuelan migrants, displaced Colombians and people in the communities hosting them – thanks to the support of caring people like you.
Before World Refugee Day ends at midnight TONIGHT, will you make a gift to help improve health for displaced people like Claudia in Colombia and beyond? |
