A few weeks ago, we reached out about an important issue facing Mainers: The U.S. Postal service was planning to consolidate mail processing services in our district, which would have delayed the timely delivery of mail to pay bills, receive medicine, and contact loved ones.
Thankfully, Jared fought back and delayed the plan - at least for now. But now we need your help to defeat it for good.
Now that we have secured a temporary victory, Jared is keeping up the fight by demanding answers from the USPS about a post office in West Paris, Maine that has been closed for three years with no update on plans to reopen their doors.
John, just because we live in rural Maine doesn’t mean it should take any longer to receive our mail. We have to remind the USPS that they work for us!
