In case you missed it: The Supreme Court recently struck down the federal ban on bump stocks, which turn semi-automatic weapons into fully automatic weapons.

Getting rid of this important gun safety regulation poses a grave risk to public safety, and makes it even more important to have a House majority who will take action on the gun violence crisis. 

Republicans in Congress have continued to put politics ahead of public safety time and time again. Nearly every community in America has been affected by senseless gun violence – so it’s past time for us to take back the House majority and deliver real solutions. 

No more thoughts and prayers. It’s time for policy and change.

And Dave doesn’t just talk the talk, he walks the walk. Ending gun violence has always been central to Dave’s work in the California State Senate. He authored legislation to end gun shows on California state property – including at the OC Fairgrounds – legislation that was just upheld by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in a major win for families across our state.

When he’s in Congress, he’ll continue to fight tirelessly for policies that ensure our communities' safety.
